Narrowing the choice down to one can be a daunting task. This article should help focus your search for a Toronto lasik surgeon.

Before beginning your search you must first decide if lasik surgery is really for you. Have you had enough of eyeglasses and contact lenses, and want to be able to see perfectly at all times without the use of vision aids? Who wouldn’t, right? Well, you have to balance the pros and the cons. Cost is obviously a big factor, and any surgery carries at least a small amount of risk something could go wrong. Balance these factors with your desire to shed your glasses, and you should have your answer.

Before setting out to find a Toronto lasik surgeon first determine your budget. Gone are the days when lasik surgery in Toronto cost more than ten grand an eye, but you can still expect to pay as much as $2,000 an eye depending on where you go. Once you’ve determined your budget range you can go ahead and continue your search for a Toronto lasik surgeon.

At Toronto Lasik we recommend doing thorough research to ensure you are completely comfortable with the clinic and lasik surgeon you choose. Many doctors have performed thousands of these surgeries, so finding one with experience should not be difficult. Try and find testimonials from past patients. Check online, and ask friends if they know anyone who has had lasik surgery done in Toronto and see if you can contact them to find out how everything went.

Once you’ve got a few likely recommendations, scope out the actual clinic in Toronto where the lasik surgery will be taking place. Is it clean and quiet? Talk to the staff, and make sure everything is up to your personal standards before going further in the process. Speak to the doctor if possible and get the details of the lasik surgery. You need to be 100% confident going into this procedure, and taking these steps will help ease your mind.

Lasik and Laser eye surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her dental implants and lasik surgery in India by a company called Forerunners Healthcare. The Price for dental and lasik surgery is very less in India. She paid 25% of the price she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India They arrange Dental surgery, jaw surgery, lasik eye surgery, Dental Implants etc for foreign patients in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and magazines- about their patient stories.
They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low cost, as dental and eye surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

    Hope this helps.

Dude do you really want to shop for bargain eye surgery? Personally I'd find the best Dr. in town and pay his price.

I've heard this too. Remember the cheaper is not necessarily better, especially when it comes to something as important as your eyesight.

I saw deals in my local area for $500 per eye, but I went to TLC Vision to get it done and it was about $4600.
